The SEALS Cup fandom has been characteristically vocal on social media, with supporters on both sides exchanging barbs and building the tension ahead of kick-off.

One supporter directed a pointed message at the Medicine camp: "The last time MBBS made it to the SEALS Cup Semi-Final and lost, their Assistant Coach was the Speaker of the SU SRC. Oludele John — be prepared."

UIMSA President Folusho Olu-Adegbola had this to say to the Dentistry faithful: "Dear UADS members, you have come a loooonngg way — but you have missed the way. And even if you drink CWAY, you still will not find it."

UADS President Okelule Patrick, not to be outdone, responded with conviction: "There are two things you should anticipate never missing in the course of your sojourn on this planet: the Rapture, and BDS vs MBBS on Thursday. MBBS will see something they cannot explain."
