Faculty Of Dentistry Cruise Past AIS To The R016

At exactly 5:30 p.m., the SUB ground was filled with spectators; students from Arabic and Islamic Studies and the Faculty of Dentistry gathered to witness the great battle of boots.

The match kicked off, and the Dentistry side immediately mounted pressure on their opponents. They graced the pitch with finesse, playing as though it was their calling.

A few minutes into the game, an astounding pass was launched from midfield, slicing through the Arabic defense to find the Dentistry striker, Godwin. He controlled the ball as if he was born for this, glided past the opponents defense and fired a banger into the net, leaving the goalkeeper scrambling on the floor. The field erupted with shouts of Goalllll! as Dentistry and much of COMUI rose in unity to support.

Moments later, tensions rose as the Arabic side began to play rough, leading to repeated fouls on Rasaq, Dentistry’s prolific midfielder. After several incidents, the referee finally issued a yellow card.

The Arabic team attempted a response, but their attack was effortlessly neutralized by the Dentistry defense which was solid as rocks, yet fluid in movement.

Soon after, Dentistry struck again. A long ball found its way to Godwin near the sidelines and when it seemed destined to go out for a goal kick, he produced a moment of brilliance, curling the ball perfectly into Samuel’s path.

Samuel calmly slotted it into the net. What a goal. The crowd watched, immersed and impressed then erupting into applause.

Malik stood out throughout the match, seamlessly switching between defense and attack. His coordination with Rasaq and the rest of the team ensured Dentistry’s dominance in midfield.

Before the final whistle, Dentistry delivered the finishing blow with a stunning screamer that flew past the helpless goalkeeper into the net, leaving him visibly frustrated
.
At full time, the whistle confirmed it after a 3:0 win: the Faculty of Dentistry had secured their place in the round of 16.
