Tooth For Thought: 2k23, 2k21, 2k25 and 2k24 Classes Emerge Finalists In Inter-Level Quiz Competition
Earlier today, in preparation for the 43rd Health Week, the Unibadan Association of Dental Students hosted the preliminary round of the maiden edition of the TOOTH FOR THOUGHT INTER-LEVEL QUIZ Competition.
The competition was generously sponsored by Dr. Abidemi Alabi, a distinguished alumnus of the Unibadan Association of Dental Students, practicing dental surgeon, and founder of Tooth For Thought, a weekly dentistry newsletter.
The event, held at the Alexander Brown Hall TV room, featured participants from all six classes under the association. The competition was moderated by Dr. Ojo from the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, who served as the quizmaster.
The quiz comprised six distinct categories: General Knowledge, General Science, Basic Medical Sciences, Basic Clinical Sciences, Dentistry, and Public Health Dentistry. All six classes demonstrated commendable enthusiasm, intelligence, and competitive spirit.
These are the results at the end of the preliminary round:
2k23 class - 107 points
2k21 class - 81 points
2k25 class - 80.5 points
2k24 class - 73 points
2k26 class - 72 points
2k27 class - 39 points
With these scores, the 2k23, 2k21, 2k25, and 2k24 classes will proceed to the final round of the competition. This will be held at a later date during Health Week, where the four qualifying classes will once again clash in a battle of knowledge, brilliance, and camaraderie.
