CHESS IS LIFE

Have you heard the saying “life is like a game of chess?” And then the question “why is chess compared to life?” comes into your mind. This article answers the question and brings an insight on how each piece in chess symbolizes some important features in human life.

In chess, the king is the most important piece, and keeping it safe is the major priority. The king can be related to our wellbeing; if we don't take care of ourselves, our game in the world will come to an end, much like losing the king will result in losing the game.

The queen is the most impressive piece; it is more versatile but has less value than the king because the game can continue without her. By moving the pawn forward in the chess game, you can get more queens as you play. The queen represents wealth, influence, and strong connections! You can continue playing your game on earth even if you lose everything, but with these things, you can undoubtedly achieve more.

Man can occasionally feel like a checkmate victim of daily conflict. He feels engulfed in problems, yet if things go well, even the collapse of his life can result in redemption. The development of man through raising his ability levels can lead to success, much as the promotion of pawns can lead to gaining more queens. Don’t forget that queens represent wealth and other good things in life.

One's family members and life partners can be likened to the bishops and knights respectively. While two bishops can make up for each other's shortcomings, two knights rarely provide useful assistance to one another.

The white and dark rooks are each given to a player at the start of the game. In contrast to knights and bishops, rooks are like parents in the game of life. Knights and bishops are referred to as minor components, whilst rooks and queens are considered significant pieces. Most crucial, keep in mind the king's safety and don't get carried away in the game of life. Don't forget to take care of your health!
