UADS Member Showcase 4.0


ADETULA David is a 500 Level Dental Student, versatile and accomplished in so many ways. He has served and volunteered in different organizations and has won several awards. He bears his crown hands down and is indeed a model of leadership.

Adetula enjoys writing about public health issues, education, politics and policies. As one who wouldn’t join an organization without having to solve a problem or to add values, his interests in these fields has made him serve in the following capacity: Chairman of the provost’s award committee(UADS), Secretary of National Editorial Committee (NADS), Editor-in-Chief Dentatics Press, Chairman of the Budget Committee (UADS), Head of content creation and publicity committee on dental education and health (UI), Senator (UADS), Vice President of Gofamint Students’ Fellowship and many more. He currently serves as the President of the Public Health Interest Group Africa (PHIGA).

What is a king without a cap, Adetula David has added a lot of feathers to his cap amongst which are;

-Finalist; WIPO National IP Essay Competition – World Intellectual Property Organization Nigeria Office
-Most Valuable Member (Preclinical); Committee on Dental Education and Health – UADS
-Second Prize; World Maritime Day Essay Competition – Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency
-First Prize; Kenneth Mellanby Hall Essay Contest –Kenneth Mellanby Hall Literary and Debating Society
-Second Prize; NIM Undergraduate Essay Competition–Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered)
Adetula loves meeting and learning about people, places and things. His vast knowledge and passion has earned him the honour of being a fellow in two organizations;

A music lover but not a movie person, when the Adetula David is not leading, serving or writing , he likes to observe his leisure in a quiet and calm environment to cool off and when he is not tired he likes to take a long royal walk.
